Subaru Legacy 2.5 GT(05-up) Performance Parts

For model year 2005, Subaru unveiled a new generation (the fourth) of Legacy GTs. The sportiest of the Legacy line, GT and GT Limited trims were offered in both sedan and wagon body styles. Power to the all-wheel-drive cars was produced by a 2.5-L turbocharged DOHC flat-4 engine, whose 250-hp output was transmitted via either a five-speed manual or five-speed automatic. In 2006, Subaru stopped offering the GT trim, but the GT Limited has remained part of the Legacy lineup. Beginning with model year 2008, the wagon body style was dropped from all variants of the Subaru Legacy GT. Performance parts for the wagon as well as the sedan, however, are still available in our online catalog.

A special, high-performance variant, the Subaru Legacy 2.5GT spec.B, was released in model year 2006. Only 500 spec.B's were produced in that year, but it became a regular trim in 2007 through 2009. The primary mechanical differences from the regular GT were Bilstein shock absorbers and 18-inch alloy wheels with summer performance tires. Starting in 2007, the spec.B offered a six-speed manual transmission and an upgraded Torsen limited-slip differential.
